Parental Information Lady2B.com caters primarily for younger people. We recognise the need to act with great care to protect the privacy of people that use our site, especially that of children ages 12 and under. Below is an outline of the safety features of our site: Member Anonymity We have designed Lady2B.com to allow children to become Members without needing to share personal information. All that we require for someone to become a member is a valid email address, a 'screen name' (which is like a nickname that we can refer to them by) and a password. Email addresses are stored by us only to ensure the smooth management of Members accounts, that no accounts are duplicated and that each member is unique. We also use email so that we can send messages telling members they have received gifts of Credit and to send them password reminders if they have trouble signing in. We do not disclose these addresses to anyone outside of our company or use them for any unrelated purpose. Safe Shopping Members have access to a 'Lady2B Purse' in which credit can be stored and spent on items in the site. Parents, relatives or friends can become 'Donors' and use their own credit cards to Add Credit to a Members Purse - like pocket money, or buying a record token. £1 of credit bought with a Donor's credit card = £1 of credit placed in the Member's purse. This allows Lady2B Members to shop in a safe controlled environment where you can be sure that their money will not be wasted! Delivery Information We do ask further information once a member decides to make a purchase with credit from their Purse. We obviously need to ask for a delivery address. Members do not have to put their own home address, instead they can specify any address they like for their items to be delivered. Unlike when an adult buys an item with a credit card, and the shop requires that you specify your home address to verify you are the card holder, we have already received payment when a parent puts Credit in a Purse, so any address is acceptable. Information Management Within our own company user information is carefully guarded. Employees have differing levels of access to the system to allow them to process orders. Only the management have direct access to Members accounts. Data Protection We are registered as Data Controllers under the 1998 Data Protection Act.
